EVERY CAR HAS A STORY…

Here’s ours…

It all started with Peggy Sue, a 1964 Volvo PV544.  Peggy Sue was actually a nurse that I worked with for 8 years. Over the years, I heard many stories from Peggy Sue about the amazing trips she and her husband had taken to Black Hills in their glorious 1964 Volvo. Cruising their way through many adventures together, however,  came to an end when Peggy Sue passed. I kept in touch with Peggy Sue’s husband and a few years after she passed away, he decided it was time to pass on the Volvo. He wanted to be sure the car went to a good home. A home, he where he hoped it would help carve out more memories on new adventures. With his permission, I bought it and named it after his wife to carry on her memory.

He still comes around to see her every now and then and you can see the memories flood back as the smile spreads across his face.

This car inspired me to tell her story and to ensure that this car, and others like her, get passed on to a new generation of story tellers where lifelong memeories are made and shared.

Every car has a story and every story has a car. What’s YOUR story?

Last drive. No Music. No fanfare. All the memories and adventures we have gone through will be cherished. Thank you to Nick and Ali in Nashville TN for taking this car on new adventures and for creating new stories for the next generation.
